About The Event:
“The only thing constant in the world is change. That’s why today I take life as it comes.” – India.Arie
After 10 years, I’m leaving DC! Bittersweet is an understatement. While I am so excited to get back home to the great state of TN, I am sad to leave the physical presence of this wonderful community of people who have become my home away from home. I’ll never have the words to express what you mean to me. My eyes are watering now at the thought of alllllll the ways God has showered me with divine love through each and every one of you. Thank you. So let’s get together one last time while I’m a DC resident and kee-kee together. Let’s have a drink, split an appetizer, and share a great story. As you may know, I love a good belly laugh, so let’s get to that too. Happy hour ends at 7, but I’m committed to sticking around another hour for the stragglers….a.k.a. ME if this wasn’t my event. I know I can’t get everyone together at the same time, but let’s try? Also holla at me if you can’t make it to see if we can squeeze in some time elsewhere. I’m moving Memorial Day weekend. While I won’t get my mail in DC anymore, I’ll always be a Washingtonian (transplant, not a native). This city and the incredible people I met while living here will ever be woven into the fabric of my heart and soul. Thank you.
See ya later,
